For those addicted to television and series … this is for you!
A few years ago there was not much choice. The TVs were so deep that there was only the option of placing them in the large living room furniture, in a low and forceful one or, at best, in a cart. But luckily the televisions were put to diet, and they thinned a lot with the arrival of the flat screen.
Hung or supported? Space issue
If you have a few meters the best option is to hang the TV on the wall, it does not take up space. Just make sure that the wall will resist its weight well (to give you an idea: a 42 “TV weighs about 15 kg) and choose the most appropriate anchors (usually the manufacturer provides this information). cross the wires! If you dare with a small work, hide them in the partition where the TV goes, to hang it, the simplest -and economic- is to do it with fixed supports, but there are inclinable or with arm to be able to separate it from the wall, and even with remote control.
The TV should always be perpendicular to the windows, never in front, because the natural light then creates uncomfortable reflections and the image loses a lot of quality. Some experts recommend that the light come from just behind the television (there are models that incorporate leds that change their tone depending on the images). So as not to strain your eyes while watching TV, light some dim light in the room.
The newest are the curved TVs. What is new? Well, the distance between our eyes and the TV is constant if you place yourself right in the center of the screen. In this way they expand the field of vision and sensation: if the screen is large and you feel relatively close, it is very immersive. The curve also reduces the reflections of the screen.
Home cinema systems seek to reproduce the sound quality of a movie theater. They consist of several speakers, usually six, which are loudspeakers and are distributed throughout the room to create a sense of surround sound. It is a more suitable system for large rooms. A good alternative in a few meters are the sound bars. Its price, minimalist design – a sound box brings together several speakers – and good features make them a very good option.
