Avoid that chocolate bar!

Say no! Say yes!

-½ cup chopped walnuts

-¼ cup unscented dry coconut flakes

-1/3 cup of red berries

-2/3 cup unsweetened almond milk.

Avoid that chocolate bar!

Combine walnuts, coconut and blackberries in a bowl. Add the milk and stir to combine. Enjoy it in the moment.

This quasi cereal resembles granola, except it does not contain any cereal and meets all our standards for breakfast. If you do not have butter clarified by hand, coconut oil or extra virgin olive oil will work just as well. Be careful when baking, as golden and toasted nuts can easily turn black and inedible. If you take the taste to this mixture as a way to start the day well, double or triple the recipe, and toss it by hand if you feel like collation entrecomidas.

Ingredients: (yields approximately 4 cups)

-1 cup chopped almonds
-1 cup walnuts
-1 cup raw pumpkin seeds
-1 cup unsweetened coconut flakes
-2 tablespoons flaxseed
-1 tablespoon chia seeds
-1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
-½ teaspoon ground nutmeg
-½ teaspoon ground allspice
-1 tablespoon stevia powder
-3 tablespoons clarified butter or shortening without melted salt

Preheat oven to 180 ° Celsius (356 Fahrenheit). Then combine almonds, walnuts, pumpkin seeds, coconut, flaxseed, chia seeds, cinnamon, nutmeg and allspice in a mixing bowl. Incorporate stevia. Once the ingredients are well mixed, rotate the butter and stir the container to cover all the ingredients.

Empty the mixture onto the baking paper and, with the aid of a spatula, spread it to form a uniform layer. Put it in the preheated oven and bake for about 25 minutes, stirring occasionally until it is toasty and aromatic.

Remove the plate and let the mixture cool. Once cooled, serve or store in an airtight container in a cool place for up to three days, or in the refrigerator for up to a month.
